Our story of how we started Longbell, nurtured it & made it as a great solutions provider in interior design industry.
Where it all started : Myself Krishnakanth, while pursuing MBA, got campus selection in customfurnish.com, an Interiors company. After having worked here for near about 3 years, realized that most of the online companies are overcharging customers for their Interior Designing requirements. Not just that even material used were not of good quality and there were lots of delays in completion of work. This situation of not keeping commitments is leaving clients in dilemma of selecting Interior designer.

What was lacking in the market? Collecting full raw material cost in advance creates doubt in client’s mind as to when would these materials be delivered to their place and how safe would they be? Along i realized increase in demand of a good Interior Designers, who will satisfy customers by meeting all expectations at an affordable cost.

My next action plan : I shared these customers pain points, customers expectations, In & Out of Interiors designing with my friends Sumanth and Jitendra and emphasized the ever increasing demand of designers with every passing day. We together decided to form a company and took 5 projects to get hands on experience of executing them from start to end. All these projects came out very well and helped us expand contacts with Vendors, Manufacturer & suppliers, installation team. Our studies and observations visiting many showrooms and sites gave us in depth knowledge & hold of the Interior designing and confidence to start Firm.

Longbell Started : Keeping in mind good service to customers we launched this company. Our motto is to meet our committed timelines while using Quality materials for creating modern designs with impeccable finish. We have been able to successfully deliver projects within 25 days after the designing as against 45 days taken by others. We operate with very flexible payment terms and take only 50% of payment after delivering the materials to customers place / site. This way even customers won’t have to worry about materials & our services.

Founders Sacrifice : We three being classmates from MBA and they both decided to came out of their successful professions, like Sumanth was associated with Banking sector and Jitendra was with TATA.

How big are we now? : Today we have grown to much larger team size of 25 members with 5 Designers, 4 from Sales team and 15 in installation team to take up projects.
